What PAT Offers
A free program: Parents as Teacher provides practical, effective ways to encourage learning for all Missouri families with children prenatal to age 5.
Personal Visits: Our PAT certified parent educators, trained in child development and home visiting, are here to help you understand what to expect as your child grows, They share valuable knowledge about early childhood development and suggest activities to foster learning.
Group Connections: PAT programs facilitate opportunities for parents to meet, discuss, and enhance their parenting knowledge. It's a chance to gain new insights, share experiences, and find support. Additionally, Group Connections provide opportunities for parent-child activities, including playgroups within the classroom.
Developmental Screenings: We offer periodic screenings covering overall development, health, hearing, and vision, This early detection helps address potential problems and prevents later difficulties in school.
Resource Network: PAT goes beyond its program scope by assisting families in accessing other community services they may need.
